So my friend was getting his car retuned. He wanted me to drive it since our cars are similar. Long story short, smoke screen, clunk clunk.

Car has a tvs at 10 psi. Made 720 rwhp on race fuel at 13psi.

So who has good deals on forged shortblocks?

Just out of curiosity...was it an 11-12 or a 13-14?

Was it a dynotuned or email tuned w/datalogging and who tuned it? That's alot of power. ;)

it was email tuned. it was going to go on a dyno in the next few weeks for a final number and final tune. I would rather not put the tuner on here as this problem is not an indication of the tune. The tuner however, is very reputable and well known on the forums.

Maybe I/we are missing something here. Your first post states it made 720 HP @ X PSI! How did you know that if it was not on a dyno? Also why would you run a car maxed out at that HP level without verifying the tune was spot on? Not blaming the tune at all here. Just saying that it is kind of crazy to do what was done.

I didn't want to derail the thread but my train of thought as well. I hope a block is found and you guys get this car back together!

Judging by your sig, I would venture a guess it was Lund..

Yes, not the best thing to do. Running a car on a race gas tune without it ever hitting a dyno is crazy...

Dont see a problem with running a car to 6000 if the tuner says" everything looks good. Give me a full throttle to 6000".

It is a retune and made 720 on the old tune at 13 psi on race gas.
