pretty much, used the fel pro gasket, spent a ton of time in the bowl areas and the short turn radius. The factory exh ports are Very restrictive....much more so than the intake IMO

Agreed, I did mine freehand and they came to the same cc as the FRPP/Livernois High Flow heads. Once you start cutting it is obvious where you need to cut on the exhaust side.

Not really much to report.....heads went to machine shop for a 3 angle valve job on Monday and was suppost to be done today but SNOW prevailed......did clean the mani, bolt what I could to the short block, install the coyote injectors, and the TSS oil pump gears

On fuel injected engines long runner=tq
On carb engines long runner=hp
On fuel injected engines short runner=hp
On carb engines short runner=tq

It has to due with pulses to bottom of the carb on carb engines vs air pulse at throttle body on efi

You're completely ignoring plenum volume here, mainly though, I don't think a motor cares how it's fueled as far as torque curves and peak numbers look on a dyno graph.

Made some progress in my spare time today. Got the oil filter adapter on, oil pump & pick up on, and the water pump.....but more importantly, the heads got done today at the machine shop. Just a simple clean up and a 3 angle valve job! The heads checked good with a straight edge. One important detail I left out earlier, the block was zero decked !

I want that bad!! Nitrous outlet quoted me 385 for the parts and 450 for labor. Plus you have to supply you own plates so add another 389. I was thinking about just buying the parts and do it myself. I don't think it would be to hard just time consuming.

I can't remember what mine came out too exactly. I had some other parts on my bill. It's well worth the labour when you stop and look at some of those bends.

They do amazing work. 450 bucks, that's like 4 hours of shop time.

Well, IT LIVES ! Got it together and running yesterday. Don't seem like it lopes as much as I thought it should....tune related maybe?

Picked up some 28x10.5 stiff walls off Craigslist for cheap, no dry rott, still soft, and plenty of life left.

And now, the start up video.....AGAIN I don't think it lopes like it should and I verified the cams I have are the 127500's.....1275019L and 1275029R :mad2:

Turn the idle down to 850- 900. They are not as lopey as hotrods or rockers.

Idle def needs to be turned down.....I need to order my new fuel pump tomorrow then its off to the dyno. Initial testing will be on the single nozzle wet system that was on the car.
