I doubt anyone is going to have a used magnum for sale. They're in high demand.

DOB is working on a non remote shifter setup for the TR-6060. That puts it on the same level as the Magnum XL

I went with a TR-6060 and I'm waiting on the DOB shifter. Basically the T-56 and the TR-6060 are the same transmission.

Maybe if you're running more than 700hp. But the T-56 is only rated for 750 last time I checked.

If you're under 700 you're probably fine with a 6060. Those things are built pretty damn well.

I'm going to be at 700 as well with my 6060. Thing is, for the same price as a T-56, I can buy a 6060 and have it built for over 1000hp. Cost effective wise the 6060 is a better option in my book.

6060 i can get a trans for $1400 plus shipping, 1 peace ds $790, Clutch $1,400, braided clutch line $70, Flywheel $370 cross memer $70 shifter barton $400
plus : Adjustable Hydraulic Throwout Bearing/Slave Cylinder $360
Total: $4,860 not counting shipping on everything.

Would save me 240$
vs a brand new t-56

Wow those prices are WAY over the top. Good deal on the 6060 though.

I wouldn't get a one piece driveshaft, but that's my opinion. I didn't. I picked up a used GT500 shaft for $120.

What clutch are you buying for $1,400?! I got a McLeod RXT twin disk AND a flywheel for like $1,200 brand new.

I paid $60 for my stainless clutch line from American Muscle before the forum discount.

I paid $60 for the 6060 crossmember, so that's not bad at all.

I bought an OEM shifter simply because I'm upgrading to the DOB later. I think I paid like $60 for it.

I wouldn't get an adjustable throwout bearing/slave cylinder. They're a pain from what I've heard, and you don't need one with the McLeod RXT twin disk. I picked up the Exedy replacement on American muscle for $180. That's before the 6% forum discount.

Total I spent
$1,600 for transmission
$120 for driveshaft
$1,200 for clutch and flywheel
$60 for clutch line
$60 for shifter
$180 for bearing
So my total was $3,220, which is almost two grand less than the T-56 kit.

Check with the site vendors. I got mine on a sale, but you can probably haggle them down lol.

If your track is picky, the 6060 can get you booted if you run 11.49 or quicker as it doesn't have an SFI approved bellhousing.
That's the thing that is keeping me from pulling the trigger on one.

Really? That's not something I'd ever heard of, especially considering a GT500 isn't too far off from that from the factory.
