It's been 5 weeks since I had the stripes painted on my Shelby so today I waxed it.

Got my BMR upper arm, BMR mount, and LCA brackets. Adding them to the shelf along with my circle D 4c and other parts waiting to go on.

I agree with Greg on this one. Though i would recommend changing the gaskets for new. When I put my Hookers on they leaked, wrong gasket design.

Not saying one is right and one is wrong but the OEM header gaskets are multi layer metal so unless they get nicked/torn I have never had an issue with re-using the stock ones.

I used stage 8 IIRC it was easier to remove the studs and then slide the header against the engine and then put the bolt on.

I have found it easier to slide the header onto the studs and have the studs hold the header "in place" and then get the nuts started but to each their own.

I did the same, was a lot easier to start the nuts that way. What happened is i used the original gaskets on BBK shorties, took em off and put Hookers on and they leaked. Couldve knicked one, dont remember. But i had to tear it all apart again for new hooker gaskets cause i had nasty exhaust leaks. :p

Finally installed the fender emblems I designed. I originally wanted them made from stainless steel, but the companies that could make what I wanted were insanely expensive - $350 to $450. So I designed some in CAD and sent them to a 3d printing company in France - polished and then painted them.

They are an exact scale replacement of the GT emblem.

What do you guys think? She's Kenne Bell boosted.

Also, finally finished my trunk cover. I hated that my wife's Infiniti had a nice cover over the sheet metal of her trunk lid while ours is just there in all it's "unfinishedness." So I made one. Routed the wiring in between the sheet metal panels (obviously had to lengthen some of the connections) and then mounted my panels.

I just couldn't find one that satisfied my desires - I wanted something clean, simple and flush.

Thanks. And good eye! No, the "low visibility" lug is a locking lug and is open ended...

I got sick of vinyl inserts on my doors sagging and peeling. I fixed them once, and they came loose again. I decided to try these Predator Mustang door inserts. They fit great and I think it breaks up all the black in the interior.
