Last week swapped out a Steeda Sway Bar that was starting to show it's age with pitted powdercoat for a new BMR adjustable Sway Bar with billet saddles.

Have not updated my car show activities lately, one last win for this season. Managed "Best Domestic" at the Miss Sexy Garage Queen Expo.

Air Lift 3P Upgrade

Have not posted in the build thread for a long time! I tired to post in my Air Lift Install thread but I guess the Air Lift Performance section no longer allows new posts.

Took advantage of a Good Friday Sale and picked up an Air Lift Performance 3P Controller.

Air Lift Performance packaging has always been ample and the 3P packaging does not deviate from the norm.

3P Display

The 3P manifold is really substantial, looks bigger but has the same mounting bolt spacing as the 2V version.

The 3P system supports Bluetooth which makes the pressure selectable from an Android or iPhone app. My iPhone with the Air Lift app running.

Upgrade is pretty straight forward swap the old manifold and harness for the new ones. I have been tinkering with the install when it has been warm enough to work in the garage.

Disconnected the air lines at the manifold, removed the 2V manifold, first power/compressor wiring harness, controller cable to the console and replaced them with similar 3P components. My existing 2V second compressor “trigger” connection pluged directly into the new 3P harness.

2V manifold removed.

Installed the 3P manifold, power/compressor harness and routed the controller harness to the center console. I reused all of the existing air lines except for the line from the tank. A fresh square cut was made to each line before pushing them into the 3P manifold.

New 3P Controller currently unpowered.

Installation complete. Once the car is back on the ground I will re-calibrate and configure the system.

noice....

wish they had done a bluetooth dongle for the 2v setup, but not worth it to me for a full control system swap.

Only problem was occasionally the software hangs on startup, so I setup a rocker switch in the footwell just beside the obd2 port, so if it ever hangs I can flip it off and back on

Wow awesome build thread. I just read the whole thing over the last hour. I think I may have missed what you ended up doing. With the rear seats. I currently have all grey interior and liked the combo you have. Thinking of switching mine up as it is currently a giant sea of light grey.

Thank you Sir. I went for a Boss 302 X-Brace. Install is covered in post #477.

That X brace is awesome, the price is a bit too much for me to justify personally, but it is very sweet in your car!

Kyle you are right they are a bit pricey, but clearly I have more money than brains as I already picked up a pair of Ford Racing Leather Recaro 15+ seats. I am going to need some assistance with the wiring for sure to get them installed!

I saw that x brace, if I didn't have young kids I would totally do a seat delete. But since They enjoy a cruise with their dad I was wondering if you sold the old rear seats or still have them? Or would be willing to sell them?
