Is an Aluminator long block that they bored to 3.572 with Diamond pistons -15cc

Swapped out my Hot Rod cams for Detroit Rockers

Slipped in a new Spec 2 clutch and Aluminum flywheel

Nice!!! How do you like the Detroit Rockers compared to the Hot Rods?

Drive ability at Low rpm is much easier

Sound is not quiet as lopey or deep.

I think they will be a better fit for the Paxton

Mainly put highway miles on it to get it home, will be putting local miles on it this week.

Too funny and no their parting gift was big as bill

I have a safecraft fire suppression system and figure it would not hurt to have a handheld for a smaller fire or if someone else has a fire.

Did some fast and easy weight reduction today. Took off the STB and engine cover for about 11 lbs, and then pulled the trunk floor board, and mat out for about 14 lbs. Not too bad for 5 min work, all of it unbolting the STB. I dont have a spare, just an air compressor :) I really want to weigh my car, there just isnt a weigh station very close. It's a base package brembo car that's already had a good deal of drivetrain and suspension mods.

Is there a race track nearby?
The one near me has a drive-on scale.

My AWD '07 Charger R/T with me in it weighed in at 4,530 lbs.
My base-model Track Pack Mustang, with some crap in the trunk but before it was supercharged, with me in it weighed in at an even 4,000 lbs
At the time I was about 270 lbs.
I'm about 30-35 lbs lighter now, but the blower added a bunch of weight, so with me in it I'd fully expect over 4,000

^^ Did you install the fire suppression system or did you have it done? and did you do for a certain type of racing or just personal peace of mind?

had it done but looks pretty straight forward, did it for piece of mind and was shooting for running things like the Texas Mile and the ECTA mile

Yeah it's hard to compare weights with the driver included, and also how much gas you have in the tank makes a nice difference. From looking on edmunds a 12 GT weighs 3605 lbs, but I dont know how accurate that is with no difference between base and premium:shrug: I'm almost surprised at the weight of your old charger, but that AWD will definitely do it lol.

I just need to make the time to go weigh it, it really isnt that far from me, just off the I-10 and 101, so an annoying amount of traffic

Ran in a 1/2 mile over the weekend. Best pass was 162.9. Had a nasty cross wind of 25mph gusting to near 40. Got pretty sketchy. Anyway, pleased how my little 3V with Saleen blower performed. On my 162.9 run I raced my buddy’s 2010 GT500 with VMP gen II supercharger and we got the same mph. Although I finished first :)

Pulled one wheel off the car. Apparently I have a slow leak in my 2 year old drag radial. Plenty of tread left and I can't see any nails in there. Not sure what's up.

Never going to buy expensive welds and run them on a street car again. Breaks my heart to see all the damage these things are getting from driving around on them. Not just scratches but divots and dings from rocks hitting the wheel.
