When you twist the coilovers up/down from where it was aligned up at. You will be out of alignment. Nice to be able to lift it when you want to but, damn getting it aligned all the time.

Hmmm maybe I can get coilovers. Everytime I see a pothole ahead, i can stop. get out of the car. make my car higher. get in the car. drive over the pothole. stop. get out. lower the car. get back in. continue driving.

Yeah hook some kind of electric motor to them so you don't have to get out.:thumb2:

Do you eat up tires or do you get it lined up every time you twist the coilovers down?

tires plus lifetime alignment deal. free alignments for as long as i have the car. they hate me.

Lol, he drives like that everywhere. It's really not all that low.

We've got a couple ideas to get it lower though. Take the helper springs out of the front. Those are good for about a 1/2 inch. the rear perches are already out so the only other option is cutting a coil off those. :chainsaw: I think we can get the car another 1/2 inch lower all around. Much more and the axle might meet the frame. The problem before was the bump stops in the rear, but those were taken care of.

this thread makes me want to lower my car, but i will NEVER lower a DD again. the fine City of Chicago and its suburbs have some pretty terrible streets year round, and driving in the snow with a lowered car is no fun
