Any guardrails or paramedics on the scene while y'all are doing this ignorant shit? No? Been nice knowing you. Darwin sends his regards.
Sorry. Thought I posted in the chit chat section. Didn't realize it was in the preachy know it all section. If I was doing on a road that sees any traffic at all I could see your point. As it stands you are just coming off as a dick.

My intention wasn't to argue in this thread so you may as well lock it. It's no longer useful. Thanks for the guys that posted non judgemental responses.

Tt's just not cool to lock threads here. :beerchug2: This thread may be of some help in the future as well.

Eventually it may be useful when someone elsse thinks about posting their car with the plates in view or something and then! maybe then! there will be an easy wasy to black them out and we'll see it here when the search button is used. :hi:

That was my intention when I posted it but then it turned into the usual "street racing is the devil" thread.

"Sorry officer, I didn't know that I couldn't do that...."

A kid doing stupid shit with other kids?

Sounds normal to me...

I'd probably just drop it. You know it happned, he know it happened. That's all that really matters. Find a track, crappy or not. Find enough people who are interested in racing, talk to your local law enforcement and try and get something set up that's safe and legal.

When I'm actually able to get to the track, I race in the parking lot of a football stadium. It's not the greatest, but it's better than jail, getting hurt or wrapping your car around a tree.

Racelegal is a joke. Last time i went there I was spinning my tires in 3rd gear on a stock car. If you're talking about autocross at Qualcomm, you get 4 runs for being there for 6 hours... equally awesome.

I personally won't race at qualcomm again, because sure its better than jail but you can just as easily wrap your car around a pole or put it into a wall there because of the terrible traction in that lot.

I never said Qualcomm was the holy grail for tracks. It does suck if you are trying to set some land speed records, but again, it's better than doing that shit on the street and having to deal with the police. I have first hand experience with that and it wasn't fun in any way, shape or form.

As far as the traction, it's not the best, but it got a hell of a lot better when I stopped racing in street tires. You can always go up to Barona as well...

If you lock the thread, it'll still show up in the search. :hi:

I'm actually quite proud of my bad reputation. You could only be so lucky.
I prefer to get along with people. Not to be an antagonist. I would never envy someone over their "Internet reputation". That's just sad to me.
