A rear axle that wasn't designed to rust as you drive it away from the dealer lot.

Well, given the newness and the unknown surrounding it, what I say is largely hypothetical and thus, subject to change. But at THIS time it IS my new "build plan", which will take so long there may not be publicly available gasoline by the time Im able to do it, but it is the goal:

Full built 302 New BOSS, given the availability of parts. If not, absolutely full built new 5.0 with turbo induction, at this point most likely twins, size yet to be determined, plus w/e it takes to make it work right the first time. No guesses, no experimentation, no bullshit or cut corners. W/e it takes, fuck it, add it to the bill.

No bullshit, no compromise suspension. At this point, Griggs.

Same as above for brakes, component brands to be determined. Likely the typical Baer or Brembo, no decision will be made till complete, thorough research is done.

Given parts and gear ratios that come available either a D&D style built new 5.0 6 speed or a built TR6060. I want a .50 6th gear because Ill be using a 4.30 rear gear. I know I can get that with the 6060, dont know on the new one. If I can get a Rally style sequential trans or like whats used on the Rolex Grand Am cars, but I dont know if those have the torque rating needed, that would be ideal.

19in rims, width to be determined. This will be a significant percentage of the build budget as I will be getting as lightweight a wheel as possible, short of carbon fibre. Clearly I dont, and wont, have an F1 race budget. But HRE, 360 Forged, etc, wrapped with Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetrics.

Torsen diff. Ideally Quaife, but they dont make a 31 spline.

And thats it. Theres some simple stuff I want to do that would ideally be done before this, clear bra, tint, little shit like that, but otherwise, thats the build.

Carbon fiber body panels, new rendition of the old school boss429 with a supercharger, no plastic in the interior. Seats that don't make your back sweat. 6 speed, and a built in 0-60 timer.
