Just got back from e-town nice cool night, ran a PB of [email protected]!
My MT's hook very nicley with a small chirp coming off the two step at 5,000 RPM. Shifting at around 6500-6700 each time.

Finally in the 12 sec club, here are my recent runs...
top 5 were from tonight, before that was before a few mods.
current mods in sig. w000hooo :boobies:

Still gotta work on the 60 foot though, but the car felt great, two 13.069's in a row as well. lazy 3.31's still in!.

ya think? I was 0.0001 away from trapping 107 on one run lol. 107 = 12.7's? I really was struggling with the 60's even though I was launching pretty hard from 5k I think I need to slip the clutch a bit more. I felt the nose go down a bit coming off the line.
I will submit this to the list :)

The 4.10s were the most noticeable difference for me. You will enjoy them.

Lol, I remember when I got my 12.9. I was on a high for a week I think.

yes, 1.8 vs 1.98 is nearly .2 in the 60', simple math there and that gets you to 12.7x. Furthermore the .2 in the 60' should be worth .3ish at the line. So in theory maybe even 12.6x.

What tires are you running? The MT 265/40/18?

Yes 265/40/18 mt et street radial II's

that's good to know!, also I am only heating up one tire so I was surprised they hooked well, I raised the two step to 5500 and roasted the tires so for how I launch (very tiny slip) till I heat that second tire up 5k is the launch limit.

Yea man we gotta meet at e-town :) it's a solid 13.0x car now for sure lol

why are you slipping and not dumping the clutch?

my 265/40s will hook on a 4700 dump on good prep

Maybe a stupid question. But isn't dumping the clutch likely to cause the car to bog and the nose to come back down on you?

Couldn't dump it at 5k I would spin, could have to do with me having one really sticky tire and the other not so much.

I slipped ever so slightly though. I didn't ride it out or anything but I didn't feel confident in dumping it also felt like the nose was falling down if I let the clutch out too quickly. 1st gear with 3.31's is a bit lame lol

what were your 60's dumping from 4700 with this tire? did you chirp a bit?

Definately, i should have my drag radials by then. You should head to Atco, I think they are open all year round when its warmer than 40 degrees. I know they are open black friday lol
