I averaged 28 MPG on a trip to Kentucky, I average 23-24 daily driving, with 3:31 gears using midgrade. I average 19-21 with the 4:10's and 16 lbs boost.

You can replace the ball joint, steeda sells a great replacement. Lots of folks have replaced the ball joint only after lowering the car. I use the BMR K-member and A-arms, transmits a lot of noise, but thats the price I pay. :) Soilid handling though.

You will have plenty of power with a vortech, I run 12.04 on boost alone, 7.7 in the 1/8th, so there is plenty of down low power on my V6.
