I'm looking at the coast side and thinking that puppy is going to whine hard on coast. That's where gear set gets expensive, because you have to adjust the side shims before you worry about pinion depth. I did mine about a year ago and spent over $200 on side shims, even though I've got a box...

Seriously? Do you spend 100% of your time at the track? If not, this is kind of like asking if you should shoot someone in the head with a 44 or 357 magnum. The difference is moot.

I had a Kenwood nav unit in my Saleen and pulled it out for a Pioneer for one main reason - The Pioneer has a user adjustable backlight and dimmer. The Kenwood was just plain too bright for driving after dark. Even with a layer of tint over the screen it's still like a flashlight in the face...
