I'm running a 79 on e85 and no issues so far, the plan is to upgrade the short block soon.

VMP TVS on a 79 and a circle d 2c, car drives very close to stock on the street and runs decent at the track. I'm satisfied with it for now lol.

From what I have read, sleeves wouldn't be necessary but water jacket reinforcements would be a good idea.

I have the same springs but haven't installed them yet. With the GT drag springs and 26's my car was literally tripping the staging lights with the splash guard (don't know the correct name of the part lol) that's connected to the front bumper cover.

Any idea how much boost its making? Very impressive with the mods and weight.

You don't need to upgrade the whole car to have a fast street car that runs good at the drag strip and still gets good mpgs.
