I just wanted to see if others were having issues with the 05s specifically. I'm well aware that there's a lil more to it than just throwing random values around haha.
Yeah we have the SCT software and a dynojet. We've tuned allot of mustangs but it seems we always have more trouble with the 05s and we didn't have the data or pit file for the new air raid cai.
I know I could have called Bama but I like getting my hands dirty and building my own stuff...that way I know exactly what's goon on when stuff breaks on the track hah
The 05s A/F ratio and fuel mapping need to be adjusted in the partial throttle area. Most tunes only adjust for WOT and the 05s don't autocorrect with the PCM especially if you have a large intake tube our if the MAF is repositioned in it. I'm running the new Air Raid race intake which is bigger...
Yeah you prolly need a rebuild or you fried your tcm...but it sounds like an power input issue. Get it to a ford dealership and have them diagnose it and make sure you talk to someone that deals with Trans mainly with half a brain hah.
more than likely you just burned up your forward band. you would still be able to manually shift through the gears and reverse. its gonna be a hit though to have your trans rebuilt but defiantly cheaper than a new one or a conversion.
