    OEM shifter arm disassembly?

Has anyone here attempted to disassemble the stock manual trans shifter arm? To be more specific, there is a short piece of shaft connected directly to the shifter ball (in the socket), but then there's another piece (with a barrel for the insulator boot to slide over and a threaded end for the...

    What gear install kit?

Just finished changing my 3.31's to 3.73's this past November, couldn't be happier. Used Ford gears and base install kit, kept original bearings (car has less than 10k miles). Very little tweaking as the tolerances of the new Ford gears matched almost identically to those being removed. One...

    Tune question: Custom vs. OEM

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but I'm an old-school gearhead trying to come up to speed on the whole ECU tune thing. If I've loaded a custom tune, then returned the tune to stock, will the dealer be able to tell that a non-oem tune had been loaded? Will there be any indication that the...

    Driveshaft and gear swap question...

Nope, no driveshaft loop, but it's gonna be tough to get up in there with an impact wrench to get the pinion nut off. Just wondering if guys who've done this a lot drop the whole shaft to free up more space... did it get in your way when you were setting preload?

    Driveshaft and gear swap question...

Foe those of you who've swapped gears, what did you do with the driveshaft after disconnecting it from the pinion flange? With that big CV joint on the end, I can't push it up enough to clear the flange, and lowering it will make pinion nut r/r and preload setting a p.i.t.a. Did you work...

LCA Reloc brackets and sway bars

Yes, I'm talking about anti-squat brackets, CHE to be exact. Lowers the control arm to maintain instant center of gravity. Had them on almost two years now, no clearance issues with the OEM sway bar. However, a Hotchkis rear bar is so narrow that the axle mount bolts at the bar ends interfere...

LCA Reloc brackets and sway bars

Greetings to all... been lurking for a while, but it's time to pony-up with a question: Anyone here running anti-squat brackets with an aftermarket rear sway bar, and NO clearance issues? I'd be interested in knowing if Eibach, Strano, etc. bars can coexist with such a bracket. Thanks for the...
