I’m about to be permanently removing door panels as part of my weight reduction track build. I’ve noticed on images there is some black glue type stuff with a piece of clear plastic over it stuck to the metal door. Is this 3m strip caulking? I just wanna know if my usual WD40 cleaning method...
Can anyone please take a pic of there sun visor screw heads? I need to put mine back up but can’t seem to figure out which ones they are in my collection of loose Ford hardware. I can’t remember if there star key, phillips, socket driver.
Thanks

After the x pipe would be the same setup of nascar stock cars. I would like to do this and have the cutout pipes continue after the x to exit out the sides in front of the back wheels. Open cutout - no mufflers. Closed cutouts - mufflers. No cats for both :)
Yeah I used the longest sharpest non seradded knife in the kitchen. Did I say kitchen. Yes I used the kitchen knife on my car. It cut it like butter though.
I took out everything in the rear except the springs and then I put back both top and bottom ISOs. Trimmed my bumpstops. No fender gap now. Springs are a bit loose on full droop in the rear. I might fabricate a 1/8 spacer from aluminum to solve this. Those locking perches are like an inch thick.
I just installed coilovers in the rear. It did not lower it anymore than the sportlines. Supposed to be 3" drop maxxed. Either my sportlines were lower than they should or I did something wrong.
I even took out 1 of the locking rings. Lower it 1/4 more. Still can fit 2 fingers on 19s...
Maxed coilovers will give me a raked look if I max out front and rear, right? Can I remove one or two of the locking rings if I wanna lower the rear more? Also won't my front rub when turning? Or will the chamber take care of it naturally?
