^^ I'm have the same opinion.
I owned a 69 Mach 1 428SJ back in the 80's and when the 05-09 arrived I thought wow, they did that right, I got to get me one. So I did.
I've played with the idea of selling it a few times but only a tasteful resto mod from 65-70 would be better in my mind and...
Mine arrived last week but haven't had the motivation to install yet. They do seem shorter than I had hoped. It would be nice to be able to set the car on 4 stands on the rails.
The instructions show that you can but the rear stand sure looks a long way forward. Anyone try this yet? Does the...
Thanks. So to match the 1 ohm stock amps I need to wire each 2 ohm DVC subs in parallel to achieve a 1 ohm resistance.
So because I'll be only using one pair of leads from each amp and basically taping up the other one, am I only getting half the amps power output delivered to the sub?
I've decided I don't really want a big sub in the truck so will upgrade the 8" door subs. I've read most of the Tunes threads relating to door subs but could still use some advice.

Looks like you're on the right track now. This hobby is about learning and sharing so don't be shy to keep asking questions. Once you're sorted out on the DOB forum, there is plenty of help there too.
You can always email DOB directly. Answers are quick and always correct.

I ran Borla S Type on a 3v NA catted xpipe. Loved the burble on down shift but droned like a mother at 1900rpm and was generally too loud for me.
Switched to Borla Touring and liked them very much with no drone but switched again to Bullit mufflers. They had a very nice deep tone but were too...
There are adapter brackets available for the GT rear brakes. They allow the use of the larger GT500 rear rotors.
