FS: 2008 Vortech V3 Mustang GT, low miles, immaculate, title in hand!

Well I really never thought I would be doing this. This car has been my pride and joy for the past three and a half years. A garage queen, a car that really was the priority of my life for while. Ok, enough with the sentiments. This car (for those who know me) is immaculate. Always...

A simple, yet very functional mod.

Ok, I know, not as exciting as some of my other picture threads. Since I changed all my conventional bulbs out to LED's, I thought, "why not add some?" Always hated not having a lit glove box so I installed a 5 LED strip and pin switch. Sorry, pictures aren't the best. I shot them in a...

A couple of pictures before hibertnation...

I'm a huge photographer as most know from previous picture threads. I didn't have my digital SLR with me, so I snapped a few from my HTC EVO before the car goes into hibernation for a bit! Just wanted to whore a little.

Having trouble loading a Brenspeed email tune, computer gurus chime in!

So about two years ago I recieved my email tune through Brenspeed. I uploaded the file (which was an LL3 file) through SCT LiveLoad, no problems. Well I recieved my new tune a few weeks ago with my rear o2's on. This file is a CEF file which LiveLoad does not read, therefore I cannot browse...

    Solving a minute exhaust leak...

Well I installed my catted-x onto my long tubes last night in order to pass emissions. I noticed that there is a small leak in between the cat and the x pipe (where the band clamp is). It's extremely small, you cannot hear it, but felt it under a cold start when I did an inspection underneath...

    o2 sensor question...

Well I sound really dumb asking this, but I have to. I'm getting ready to install my catted-x in replace of my offroad-h pipe. On my Hooker long tubes, the passenger side collector has a o2 bung where I just screwed in the factory rear o2 into (they didn't give me a bung to plug it). Well now...

o2 sensor raisers needed with high-flow cats to pass VA state emissions?

I guess I skipped that part of research when I was looking into what was needed to pass VA state emissions with long tubes, and a high-flow catted-x. Can someone explain the use for these? --Brandon

Prefered to be in the northern VA area, but interested to see what you all have. New, used, whatever. Need ASAP! --Brandon

    Will this exhaust setup work?

Well I have to buy a catted midpipe (going with an X) to pass VA State emissions. Looking at the Pypes catted x to fit on my Hooker LT's. From what it looks like (from the picture), I just won't be using the top part of the three part design. The cats would slip on to the collectors from...

    Emission gurus chime in!

So I chanced it and went to get a Virginia State emissions test done and failed. I have an email Brenspeed tune installed on my car (rear o2's turned off for my off-road H pipe). The emissions test said o2 sensors "not ready." My question is if I return the car back to a stock tune (turning...

Doh! Vortech V3 gurus chime in!

So I went to do first oil change on my Vortech V3 headunit. I feel like a moron, because when I initially installed the blower I thought I read that you were to only change out oil every 7,500 miles. Well when I went to pull out the bottles I re-read that the initial change should be performed...

WTB (northern VA area): Catted X pipe for lt's.

Need an emissions test done soon. Anyone have a catted X pipe that will hook up with Hooker long tubes? The ends of the X pipe cannot have flanges (needs to be a slip fit in order to hook up to my collectors). Willing to meet up to most parts of VA, MD, PA, DC, or WV. Thanks so much!

Vortech V3 owners, come in. Changing out lubrication.

I'm due to change out the oil in my V3 head-unit in about 400 miles. Is it as easy as it seems? Just take the plug off the steel-braided hose, drain, then re-fill?

    Will I pass emissions?

Boy do I feel like a noob asking a question like this. Sadly, I have never owned a car for more than two years (without cats) to have to go through with this. My 08 GT is coming up on 2 years and I need to get a Virginia emissions done in the next month. I have an un-catted setup with my...

    When does fuel go bad?

I have about a 1/4 tank of 93 octane fuel that's been sitting my GT for about four months. Since the winter here was pretty harsh, it has been driven in about that long. Is the fuel still ok? I plan on taking the car out later tonight.

    Running Mobil 1 5w-30

I know that the proper weight of oil is 5w-20, but I have six quarts of Mobil 1 5w-30 laying around. Will this be ok, or could it be detrimental to the car?

    Removing over-axle pipes...

Well I have the rear end up off the ground (but the actual rear is dropped), and I'm getting ready to remove my Magnaflow over-axles. It's been so long, I forget if that's a sufficient amount of room in order to shimmy them out. Pointers?

WTB QUICKLY: OEM GT over-axle exhaust

    Blowby upon itially cold start?

Well I haven't started up my car in two weeks. And when I did start it up two weeks ago it was only for 30 seconds to pull the car back into the garage after a wash. I was backing my car up on to Rhino Ramps a second ago and I noticed a decent mount of blowby or white smoke coming out of the...
