I have........ that is why I noted that it was a base car. Pushing and holding the trac button does nothing on base cars... just wondering if anyone has found a work around.

Well just found out that the electronic nanny will not let me power slide my car :horseshit: Any way to turn off the advance trac on a base car?? :mad2:

yeah I have heard but this is strictly a DD/beater so I am not going to dump a ton of cash into her. My mods list is pretty short... Tune x-pipe wheels Entertainment system - stock base radio sucks arse This is my weekend toy :) Thanks again for all the Welcomes

Yeah after so many years i still am in love with the MKIVs but the OT and other cars sections are good reads from time to time. But yeah other than the CEL code I am loving my 6er great for DD duties and I still have my bike as my go fast toy. Yeah I pretty much stole it paid under 18k...

Thanks for the compliments... As far as the tune goes when i bought the car I was avg around 30mpg pretty easily since i drive a lot of highway but a little back story ...... Bought the car with the mods already done to them I assumed that it had a tune as well.... driving the car for a couple...

So has anyone installed these speakers using the base radio package?? Wondering if the base head unit will give these enough juice......
