Hell yea tricky part is installing the limiters. And honestly you didn’t need a tool you could have just used a piece of hose. Those thumpers are gonna wake up your 3v
How about you get an ids and cancel the cylinder see if it goes away. Powerbalance in the ids. Listen to the engine with a stethoscope and check the front of the timing cover and the valvetrane
That wasn't it so now were thinking its the tensioner making noise after taking it apart again lol this is what the inside of the tensioner looks like you can see the marks on it
I pulled the cams yesterday and this is what I found. If you put a light to the cam journals you can see the high and low spots so to me it looks like the head was not machined correctly. The cam on the intake side was jacked up on 3 or 4 of the journals causing like a squeak or a birdchirp...
So why is it that the v2 tune won't let you rev match as your downshifting. Bama says it's normal. I've talked to about 3 different people they tell me it's normal from bama, but the previous tune was fine...anybody have any ideas???
