    Loud bang on launch

I see, well “bump stops” is definitely more of an appropriate nomenclature for these units, but they do look like yellow cakes and are so not racecar esk

    Loud bang on launch

So yeah, umm, there’s like these rubber yellow cake looking things that sit on the axel tubes.....Did you remove them? I did for weight reduction purposes and mine would randomly clunk sometimes too. I chalked it up to those things Also the first time I blew up my 8.8 (yellow cakes were still...

2010 gt hot rod cam sputtering issues

My old hot rod setup Would have mild instability at 3k RPM under 60% percent throttle. I chalked it up to the cams geometry. The issue persisted with various tunes, coils, tb’s and 39&80LBS injectors.

    Damage from Break torqued

Update, minor leaking from the converter housing Could it have swelled? I was burning out for a sustained period of time, it was bouncing of the limiter for a proximately 45 seconds or so.

MSD Shift Light #8963 Crapped Out

Take it to a dealership, you’ll likely be assisted free of charge. I wouldn’t advise tampering with any Accelerations sensors or what not

Think this is what killed my motor?

Please do share photos during the tear down! Also I purchased an 18 volt stall horn from an F4 phantom fighter jet, as my oil pressure gauge also has a programmable relay output lol. I think That and a large MIL is definitely a good idea.

    Say a prayer for Lito

I had contact with him Feb 6th. Hopefully he’s busy building a twin 3v cigar boat.... Sorry for my ignorance but, does it seem like that area is in need of liberation?? Or UN aid?

Think this is what killed my motor?

Well depending on knock sensor feed back to the engine’s ECM it could’ve been pulling timing due to pre ignition/detonation. In this event engine power would’ve been reduced and the car would’ve logged a slower Trap speed. I’m asking because the failure did not seem abrupt. I’m curious about the...

What eng T stat F rating do you use ?

I’ve found, do to the impeller wheel design the stock hub adapter pully does somewhat lack diameter size and this can cause the formation of low pressure air pockets at sustained high engine RPM. Running a variable electric water pump seems more efficient than its mechanical counterparts...

Think this is what killed my motor?

You know, like the car was knocking on the door and the ECM’s Protection subroutine Pulled timing out of it.....

Think this is what killed my motor?

operating the engine with a damaged balancer could’ve certainly contributed to rapid component wear and possible engine failure. The engine is considered “neutrally balanced” however in regards to a positive displacement application, there are many variables to consider that you’ve yet to...
