Does anyone have any recomendations for changing out the plugs. Are they as easy to strip out as the 2006? Also which ones to get, double platinum or iridium?

Was your car still under warranty? I am out of warranty now, and I have heard it is expensive so I am trying to do it myself. It seems like it is coming from the front one and sounds real loud with the glove box out of the way. The whole motor twists about a quarter inch when the vent closes.

Thanks I will try it, when I got the car used it had glass in the vent under the windshield so maybe that is all that is hanging up the door, not the moter

Does anyone have instructions for changing out the part that controls where the air is blowing from the AC. Mine has started clicking when I go from max air to feet or dash vents. I have read that the whole dash has to be removed or you can gain access from the glove box but no real instructions.

No just wanted to be able to remove them when i wanted. They sounded good just to loud for a daily driver. Did the same to a set of gt/cs and got what i wanted now going to sell the flowmasters.

Have checked the links posted saw all other mufflers just not the gts, but i think that is what i am going to use. Do not really want louder just better tone and look, i hate the cap over the pipe with the v6 mufflers.

Yeah they are the american thunders 817496, gonna sell them once i figure this out.

So i got a 2011 v6 automatic mustang and decided to switch out the exhaust, got a good deal on some flowmaster exhausts for the v8. Got the ends switched out to bolt onto my pipes but is too loud for my taste. I have tried finding videos or opinions on just modifing v8 mufflers to fit but have...

I was only trying to do it cause someone out here had a set of gt mufflers for $50. Have not been able to find any v6 kits used.

Ok after a little research gt mufflers are 3" v6 are 2.25" is there an adapter that i can use?

So it is not like the 2006 where all i had to do was replace the mufflers with any gt mufflers? I guess int that case i will need to start looking for the pipes as well. What modification that you mentioned would i have to make?

I just totalled my 2006 Mustang and have bought a 2011, i dont have enough money to do the exhaust that i want right now but wanted to make it sound a little better. Which years off of the GTs will direct fit onto the car, i know the hangers are in different places on some.

Does anyone know if i can use the shocks and struts from a GT on my 2006 V6. They are going to be from newtakeoff, and i have been unable to find an answer through the forums.
