As some of you know my motor came apart. Here is a pic of the blown piston out of #7. Number 3 spark plug was blown in half as well. Was out racing in mexico and on the 4th pull seen smoke in the rear veiw mirror. Car never got hot, never lost oil pressure, never any signs prior to the smoke...

Well as some you may know my motor took a crap a little while back. Was hoping it was just the piston but looks like it burnt a knife like hole in #7 as well as got some of the block. Not really sure what caused it either ring piece or some oil( seems turbo was seeping some from the seal).....So...

Lets talk pistons.... What are you guys using as far as pistons go? What compression ratio? Looking at boosted cars making big power... IS anyone using the Custom Livernois/Diamond pistons? Claim to be able to hold tons of power?
