Hello, I have a set of Hoosier slicks off of my old 03 Lightning, they're 28" tall, and on a 16x10 Baja rim that doesn't have the same lug pattern as stangs. does anybody know if there's a wheel that'll allow me to use these slicks "I already have" on my 2012? I tried searching without luck? Similar backspacing would be nice too, and haven't had any luck with the aftermarket as of yet either.

Grab some stock 05-09/10 V6 wheels. They're only 7 to 7.5" wide, but that'll be the easiest and cheapest way to get those slicks on your car

I'll have to look into that, and thank you.

The 94-04 16" wheels fit fine also, offset is slightly lower but they still fit inside the wheelwells fine, probably easier to find.

Do you know the width on those from the top of your head?

They were either 7" or 7.5" depending on the year. My wife's 1999 GT actually came from the factory with 16" wheels (5-spokes), 17s were an option even on a GT in that year. I believe they were 16x7.5.

The ad I have here on the slicks I have says the minimum rim width needs to be 8", would anybody hesitate to fudge that by an inch or less with a 7, or 7.5" wide rim? Here's a link to the slicks I have http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hoo-18153/overview/.

Eh, it's not ideal but I can't think of any other cheap 16" wheel off the top of my head. I would toss them on and see what happens. Maybe screw it to the rim or do some sort of glue.
