Newbie to the S197 here.

Did a search here and on Google trying to figure that saddle tank design out.

I am building my 2005 GT as a drag only car.
At the most, all I ever need is 5 gallons of fuel at any time.

Is there a way to completely close off the passenger side tank from the driver's side, so if I pour in a few gallons, none of it will go to the pass. side ?

I know it would play screwy with the fuel level gauge on the dash. I would have to figure something out later.

Just curious what problems I would run into.

Thanks, but I clicked on that fuel system depressurization link and a big ol' red warning came up on the screen ( virus alert ?)

if this is as you stated " I am building my 2005 GT as a drag only car" , why
would you not pull the tanks and put a cell in the trunk ? less weight .
then you could pull the cluster -less weight- and not have to worry about the fuel gauge !
IMO .

How would the factory returnless fuel system work with a fuel cell ?

A cell would be easier, but just wondering how to work the pump.
