BBR Adjustable Motor Mounts allow you to have the ability to install at stock ride height - 1/4" - 1/2" - 3/4" lower for additional hood clearance.

Our Billet Mounts have more adjustment than any other Motor Mount on the market. They are lightweight, stylish and still strong enough to hold up to some serious amounts of torque.

These mounts are ideal for those folks that want to run a factory hood while running a tall manifold or a larger top mount supercharger system.

Lowering the engine by 0.75" would also lower the center of gravity, even if one isn't worried about hood clearance issues.

Does anything else need to be done to install these mounts (transmission mounts, drive line modifications, etc)? How much engine torque can they handle in comparison to the OEM mounts?

So what happens to the working angle of the driveshaft at the transmission end when you lower the engine 3/4"?

Nope. Anything more then the 3/4", it will change and be an issue. The 3/4" is as low as you can go with changing the geometry of the engine

What if my car is lowered on H&R SS's? Would I ever have the engine low enough to run into oil pan clearance issues?

well, the lower you go, the more chance of hitting you have. You can even rub with those springs on stock mounts. lol But I have not herd of any issues

I lowered my engine 3/4" and it improves the drive shaft angle by decreasing the the angle at each end when aligned. But I did have to slot my transmission cross member mounting holes as the mount moved the transmission back slightly as it rotated around the lower enigne mounting points. Not slotting the transmission mounts puts side load pressure on the rubber trans mount increasing noise and vibration.

I've had these in for almost a year. I got a set at Mustang Week last year and no issues at all. I will say it has greatly improved the shifting from 2nd to 3rd. If your car has cams you will love the wat it feels sitting at a light and the car rocking side to side. Its a great mod to do!
