2010 GT Positive Cable Replacement

Hey everyone,

Need some advice. I had a small fire that burned through the battery cable running from the battery to the starter (part no. AR3Z-14300-A).

The part is discontinued and I can’t find it anywhere aftermarket wise. What’s the best course of action to find the part? Have one made somehow? Or am I stuck trying to find a salvaged one?

Unfortunately, no. I actually ordered this one thinking it would be, but it’s got some accessory wires on it since it’s for the GT500 my year.

Unfortunately, no. I actually ordered this one thinking it would be, but it’s got some accessory wires on it since it’s for the GT500 my year.

Just take it apart, take the cables that you need, get rid of the ones you don't need and put it together again. Should work just fine. Let me know how it went.
