You could buy a 07-09 Shelby and upgrade the suspension and blower and everything?

Sorry to hear about your car. Sad to see another Limer go.

No, the 2010+ GT500 chassis is far better than the S197 GT500. I'm not going to be throwing thousands of $$$ into it like I did when the LL. A CAI, pulley and tune will be plenty for me.

Plus after sitting inside a 2010 GT, I realized how much it blows away the S197 interior, IMO.

That why i bought my 500, i thought about getting a GT and building it up. Then i set down and ran the numbers and for what i was going to do, the 500 was the perfect fit. Plus it already has a awsome engine to start out with, for thousand you can add 100+ horses, and its just damn sexy!!

O did i mention you can pull hot ass with it too!!!

I sat in a 2010 V6 and it's nicer, simply because Ford really put effort into (in to?) making the car comfortable.

I love Shelby's, and I'm happy that they upgraded the suspension for the 2010.

I'm just not a huge fan of the rear end. I hate that cheap plastic-looking shit. I've seen people make it look MUCH better by painting it. If I were you, that'd be the first mod I did.

Yeah I think Ford really put some work into the interior also. I love the stripes on the seats too. I don't mind the rear end at all. The plastic peice I am on the fence about.

I would like to see one where the plastic piece is smoothed and painted to see if that helps. I don't get why they are all going to the unfinished plastic on the new cars, it looks like shit.
