Just finished swapping to the 2.59 pulley on my 2011 GT500.

Before doing this I Emailed Jon Lund for a tune update, he stated no update needed for the pulley swap.
seems to me the first tune would have to be very conservitive than.

I'll get it on the dyno to check the tune asap.

Also upgraded the plugs to the NGK TR6 gapped at .033

If the tune is good and your not upping the boost too much, the PCM will have the maps in it to use the added air flow and make more powwwaaaaaaa!!!!

The pulley swap ups the boost 3-4 psi.

Yea, you'll be fine. I talked with Justin from VMP about me going to a bigger crank pulley. He told me no worries, the tune would compensate for it. Congrats on the pulley! I loved mine when I first put it on!!!!

It might work, but hasn't it already been proven that even a custom tune will provide more power?

So if he is stock, never tuned, throws a pulley on, sure he will make more power and the computer will fix it. But won't he still make even more power with a custom tune?

He is tuned but with stock hardware from what I'm reading. And I personally would never throw a pulley on with a stock tune and then go WOT at the track. That's just me though...

Better watch that #8 piston....(Sorry I couldn't help it)

When going up 3-4 psi that should be able to be compensated with the tune. Did you get an a/f ratio for the stock pulley? An additional 3-4 psi could lean it out about .2 - .4 more than the stock tune. With a spot on MAF Transfer Function you should still get it checked as it still is going to have an increase in air flow which in turn will move it up the table.

Also what happened to "Leaving it stock"???

Still got that TVS when you are ready to make 650 rwhp...
