2012 GT 1/4 times 12.7 @ 112 with a 2.2 60ft

Took my 2012 Mustang Gt 6 speed to the track for the day a few weeks ago. Mods are: Heartthrob Axle Back only.
Best was a 12.7 @ 112 with a 2.2 60ft. Problem is getting a good launch and I hit the rev limiter like 100ft before the end of the track. Which is telling me the car would have run a 12.5 easy. I need to get it tuned bad. Heres the video.

I have the same problem with riding the rev limiter at the end of the track. I'm thinking bumping the rev limiter to 7500 or a 28 in. tire would take care of that.

im gonna say the reason why u ran so fast is cause of the freezin cold tempature it looks like there lol. but good runs none the less.

i ran a 12.8 a few weeks prior in worse weather. the temp didnt make that much of a difference. my issue is getting the launch down

5th is your direct drive gear. shift into 5th throttle through the line and it will increase your mph and lower your time a little. Nice run BTW

Wow! This would suggest the car can pull a super low 12 with a 60 in the 1.8's. Scary.

these cars are definitely very quick. I think with a tune low 12's are very possible

Very capable cars with minor mods. There are guys running low 12s high 11s with cai/tune and offroad x pipes.

Not bad withstock tires. Lots of guys have went high 11s low 12 with just DR's and tune. My manual car went 12.1@114 with just tires no tune in a +250 DA.

For 26k, a 12 flat on '400 hp' is unbeatable. Even if only one car does an 11.99

I mean, mid to low 12's for 26k. Makes me want to sell and buy one.
