5.4 Block question.

sorry to threadjack, but....

how much power would(er...could?) a 5.4 make, destroked, n/a?
i'm not a fan of power adders atm, and investigating n/a power. if someone were to give you a 5.4, SD, what would you do to it to make it a monster n/a that's streetable?

Use a 4" crank (destroke) with a 6.800" rod and a flat top piston. Lots of compression with that setup plus an excellent rod/stroke ratio that would rpm better than the stock setup. Lots of porting, larger valves, 127500-ish cams, and a JPC intake (about the only one available).

If money were no object you could do a big bore aluminum block with the above setup. That would be a pretty bad sumbitch.
