Anyone installed On3 fuel hat?

Working on the fuel pumps but can’t figure out sending unit. The way it snaps in looks like it’s upside down to me. It’ll go in the other piece but sticks way out. Instructions were those really cool ones that showed up not in the torn box!!!

VICTORY!!! Took hat apart and flipped sending unit holder. Dunno why On3 told me I’d have to get an 08+ sending unit.

I do not know sir but I did call the Ford parts department and that guy said “I’m pulling up different sending units for 05 & 06, wtf?”….panic really set in then lol…he ending up saying “they should all be the same”

when you said “it’s upside down” where you talking about that bracket? I thought you were cracking a joke about the pic or sending unit. I never thought they’d send it built wrong…hope the turbos built better!!

What is the difference with an '08 sending unit vs an '07?

There shouldn’t be any. Ford made a fuel level sending unit with grey body for 07-09. It is the only sending unit JeremyH uses and I had to change an aftermarket white unit to the grey because of inaccurate fuel level readings.
