So I had to unwrap part of my harness around the front of the engine to replace the power wire to my water pump. Anyways I found this connector with both ends cut.

Now mind you many years ago I did a semi wire tuck. I did it in sections and never had the entire harness unwrapped. Everything has always run fine so it's not that vital of an issue. Just more curious than anything. And I ask myself, if I reran that circuit, why would I have left the connector intertwined in the harness?

Looks a lot like the starter connector next to the BEC.

According to the connector views and location that's C146. It's the only single wire connector in the entire car. It's an inline connector for Ckt 113 that provides power from the battery thru the Starter relay pin 87/at BEC position F10; to C197B pin 1 for the starter motor. It's in the electrical diagrams pg 13-1. Someone must have routed around it in the past. Otherwise, your starter shouldn't be working.

Here's the diagram; it's in the middle of the page.
