I went to the track a few months ago and was able to cut a 1.47 short time using Eibach Sport Springs, using stock shocks and struts, and using aftermarket upper and lower control arms.

I love the look of my car with the lowering springs, and I understand weight transfer and that a car can hook better on the stock springs versus the Eibachs I have on now, but I only go to the track every so often. I would like to retain the rider height I have now.

Question: is anyone out there running high 9's - low 10's using lowering springs?

I know stock works great. However, FRPP just released the Cobra Jet Lowered springs. They sit 2" lower than stock. So it'll have a nice stance, I just really don't know how it'll allow the car to launch being so low. I can work you up a good price on them if you want to give them a try.

QA1s single adjustable in the rear and Cobra Jet springs in the rear also. Stock fronts.

The rear I had set at 8 driver side and 9 passenger side, that was when I pu[lled the wheels in the signature picture.
I lowered it the next pass to 5 on the driver side and 7 on the passenger side. I did that so it wouldnt pull the wheels so high on the launch, cause when it comes down, it hits the K member very hard and I cracked the hot side of the turbo piping before.

Several street guys have used our adjustable ride height kit with great success at the strip. Check out TurboPete's combo. He is going solid 9's with 1.3 sixty foots and a turbo on radials in a full weight S197.

Eibach drag launch springs here and high 1.2x- low 1.3x 60's...

The don't sit high at all - my car sits very nice and still supports a nice (29") tire and fits perfect. Go for the most rubber you can.

same here i go to the track 3 maybe 4 times a year, so i dont want any drag springs on my car, i like when it sits low, i have ford racing lowering springs now, stock shocks and struts, no problems here, except comfort of the ride sucks (very bouncy) with the stock dumpers and lowering springs,
