anyone else own aquariums? I just bought a 135 gallon 72" x 18" x24". haven't had one before but I'm gonna make this an african cichlids mostly since they are a hearty species(ie harder to kill for the newb). I am building my own stand and cover for it and am piecing the thing together for all the parts. pics as this comes together

Salt water here. There is a thread or two floating around here regarding tanks/setups.

I'm currently building a 72 gallon salt water setup, but here is my little 29g:

Freshwater here. Was out of it for a couple year after being in it since my teens. Picked up a 29 off CL winter of 11. Kinda didn't do much with it for the last 8 months due to being busy with school. Since I had to have my last cat put to sleep and dine with school, I got back into it. Came across an awesome Fluval 5 stage power filter for it and am currently setting it back up with live plants and more fish.

Use to have a 100 gal planted discus tank for about 10 years. Had a lot of fun and raised a bunch of great fish. I moved out of that place into a smaller one and had to sell off all my fish, tank, and supplies. I kept a 29 gal and a 10 gal that I used for breeding/sick tanks, but I haven't gotten the time to get them set up. I fully intend to do a small community tank for now, but I may just wait until my wife and I buy a house and get another discus setup going.

I have a 29gl saltwater tank. I need to find time to put some more fish in it. I currently have just the yellowtail starter fish in it. They seem to be doing well.

I want to build a long, short, kinda narrow tank for my living room to put ona custom stand behind my couch. Fresh water. I really like bala sharks (not really sharks) and they are a school fish. Silly I know, but I dig 'em.
