For the month of August we are running a special on the TVS Supercharger 403994 and P51 clutch disc 404001. The TVS blower kit most commonly known as the supercharger used on the P51 A and B cars is a 2300 compressor that is capable of up to 700 HP at the tires! For most cases when being used on the stock engine with 13 psi 500+ HP at the tires is easily acheivable. This much power requires a GT500 fuel pump system and custom tune, but the R2300 TVS kit comes with every part necessary for installation.
With up to 500 HP at the tires your stock clutch becomes the next weakest link in your drivetrain. Anything over 475 HP and the clutch will begin to slip under heavy load or wide open throttle. Roush has an excellent upgrade for your car that will handle up to 700 HP at the engine yet still maintains good pedal feel. The P51 clutch kit is a heavy duty single disc with shim that is applicable with the stock flywheel and pressure plate. For cars that have more than 20,000 miles on them machining the flywheel and a new pressure plate is sometimes suggested.
