After many years being restored, B-29 "DOC" flies again.

That's awesome, love seeing them brought back to life. My father used to take us as kids when the B-17 & B-24 would fly in. I have a smaller airport near me and few months ago had a bomber and bunch of fighters circling, I am guessing it was landing pattern staying together and one would land each time around

That's pretty sweet.

I live near March ARB, and they had a flying B-17 for the longest time. However, I assume due to lack of funding, it has been gutted and parked as part of the museum. They still have some nicely preserved planes, but sad to see them "let go".
