Back in the 5.0 club!

Some of you may remember that I had a white 2011 GT last year (auto, Circle D, Boss manifold, E85, 11.40s), which I sold and regretted ever since. So....I bought another one yesterday.


This one is a 2012 'base' GT (cloth interior), automatic. Only option is the back-up assist system thing (annoying beeps). 49k miles on it. Purchased yesterday at Shottenkirk Toyota in Quincy Illinois (long road trip). Traded in my 2006 GT.


I didn't know until I got there but the car came with an SCT tuner with Bama tunes on it, offroad x-pipe (which I was going to do anyway), and dealer-installed 3.73 gears. Dealer also installed brand new tires on it. Wheels and tires are for sale...big surprise!! LOL.

Car is dirty from the trip. Too cold here to give it a thorough wash.

Bought a set of Track Pack aka 'Brembo' 19" wheels and tires from a friend today. These are one of my favorite wheels for the 10-12 body style, especially silver. This is on the factory ride height; SR Performance 1.5" lowering springs are on their way to my house.

Sold and shipped it yesterday. Ordered a Circle D 5c converter from Mike Rousch today, getting a set of polished Racestars from Beefcake hopefully soon too. The pieces are falling into place...

Yes you did sir! I've been around, had an 06 GT that I traded in for this car, before that was a 420rwhp cammed 2000 Corvette convertible, before that a 2011 white 5.0 automatic, a 690whp 99 GT turbo convertible, 638rwhp 2005 GT turbo, etc etc, haha.

47# injectors arrived today also for E85, and Mike Rousch sent me some tunes to play around with!
