More than likely you have an exhaust leak. Take to the shop and see what they find. I've had the pop and talked to Steve @ BBR and he advised to have my exhaust checked out and sure enough a small crack in one of my headers at the primary. Welded it shut and no more pop.

Hmmm interesting. I'll talk to my mechanic and see what he can do. Thanks for the tip.

Any signs that its running richer on start up? Does it smell gassy when you start it up?

Popping will occur with no cats. If the cats are 'there' but blown-out, the same thing can happen.
