Barona, Sat & Sun, Nov 10-11

On the weekend of 11/10-11/11, Barona is having an event in conjunction with the Southern California Drag Racing Association (SCEDA). I have sent an e-mail to one of the Barona track owners to confirm that it is open to all cars, and to make sure we can get access to the track on Friday night to set up in the pits with cars, trailers and RVs. Once I hear back from him, I'll update this thread.

Assuming it's good to go, we're trying to organize a get-together for all the SoCal (and NorCal guys, too, if you're interested). It would be great to have a big group there to hang out, fire up the BBQs, and in the evenings (after the driving is done) consume some adult beverages!! This will be a blast!!

So chime in here if you are interested. And I'll keep adding info as I get it.

Seriously, I'm expecting to use that weekend to try to figure out what's up with my car. Adam is going to bring his laptop and we're going to datalog the car on the track. Maybe it's something simple that he can fix on the spot.

All of my tools, my tires/wheels, our helmets, the door bars, spare parts, etc., are all gone now. And my Bronco ("the pit truck") was burned to a crisp as well. But we'll be ready for a party weekend at the track!! In fact, we're probably going to need some fun by then.
