Could it be the first wrecked dark horse.

A bone stock manual '24 GT with 486hp recently went down the 1/4 mile in 12.5 @ 114.7. Rather disappointing for a car with nearly 500hp but then it also weighs nearly 4000lb (similar to 07-09 GT500 in HP & weight). The Dark Horse is likely to be only marginally quicker with its extra 14hp but the same torque.
The automatic versions should do more like a 12.1 but with stickier tires +/- minor suspension upgrades, an 11.9X should be possible.

Edit: Just saw a 6-speed manual Dark Horse put down 441rwhp & 389rwtq on the dyno. Exactly what I expected.

Dyno of a 2024 Dark Horse with 6-speed Tremec 3160. Ford's claim of 500 crank hp is legitimate.

Bone stock 2024 GT 10R80 "Papa Smurf" did a 12.31 @ 116.84. Slightly disappointing that it was slower than a stock 2018 GT despite an extra 26hp.

Two reasons come to mind: more weight, and most of the extra power is above 5700rpm.

The S650 needs to go on a crash diet. A car with near 500 crank hp should do better than low/mid 12s.

Run 1: Same car re-baselined.
Run 2: Hydrocarbon traps removed from intake tracts.
Run 3: Airbox lids removed.

The Blue Ember Metallic pops even harder with a new set of Weld Wheels on our Dark Horse Mustang. Even in these photos, the "special effect pigments" shift ever so slightly depending on the angle. Adding the drag packs truly gave it the proper look and stance we prefer when building a modern Mustang.

In the rear we ran an 18x10 Weld Belmont wheel with 305/45 ET Street R tires. Also ran the UPR centering sleeves to keep everything in proper alignment especially under boost! (coming soon)

Front is an 18x6 Weld Full Throttle with 28x6 ET Street Front tire. Damn that looks sharp!!

All products available on our website, we are adding 2024 Mustang upgrades daily!

Looks good with those wheels. Do the S550 wheels fit on the S650 with no issues? My assumption is that they are likely the same bolt pattern and offset, but I haven't seen anything that says.

From what we have heard they will fit if the car doesnt have the big break package. 18x5 front, 17x10 rear. Not all brands have been test fit yet so guys will just need to test fit before mounting tires
