Well, I figure I may as well start a build thread of some sort. I haven't done much to it yet, but I hope that changes soon. I just have to figure out a plan. I'm torn between it looking good and performing well on an autocross/road course (HPDE).

so far, the only mods are
CJPP 25mm wheel adapters/spacers all the way around
Conti DWS06's tires (255/40/19F and 275/40/19R)
MBRP Stainless 3" Street catback system

There are so many things I want to do, but I just don't know where to start. I have an upcoming move coming soon, but I can't go hog wild with mods yet.

I want to lower the car, but not sure on the springs to use with the stock PP shocks/struts.

For appearance I'll be doing
Tint
wheels (gunmetal/charcoal?)
upgraded lighting to LED (rear markers, reverse).

Performance I'm looking at
tune?
shifter?

Anyway. I'm just going to try to document the fun with modding.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa buddy

BMR springs with the stock shocks/struts should work fine. I've always enjoyed the comfort of their lowering springs even on stock shocks.

Lund for tuning
MGW or Barton for shifter

MGW shifter without a doubt. Awesome company to deal with and the best QC anywhere.
VMP tune will put a smile on your face every time you step on the skinny pedal. Odds are you won't even need to bother with datalogging, in most cases it's perfect right from the start. Mine was tuned a year and a half ago and I haven't touched it since. No stumbles, no codes, just perfect.

I've heard the BMR stuff should be good. IDK if they will be ok for a road course though.
Fixed
Ken,

BMR performance springs, no need to think about that one.
Another vote for BMR.

MGW is a common upgrade for sure. I'm going to have to find someone with one and see how I like it. Is a shifter upgrade really needed if I'm not powershifting? I do have a lot of notchiness and tough shifting at times but I'm not going to be slamming it into gear.

VMP? I don't hear much about that place. I was going to wait for Ford Performance to do their TracKey, but who knows when it will be out. I had a ProCal on the 2011 and liked it but I've never had a "major" tune.

If ou want a tune, go Lund. There is a reason he is the top tuner for Mustangs. I'm trapping 118.4MPH in the quarter mile with no real power modifications besides the cat back(we all know a CAI is worth shit but looks either). The drive ability is awesome too.

That's what I've heard.

I'm really considering pulling the trigger on a set of springs and the MMD wheels. I'm just not sure how I'd change the springs out.

Call Greggy. He seems to be traveling the USA these days. Who knows he could be in your neck of the woods by the time you get them. Haha

OK. I have a minor "dilemma".

When I bought my car, I also bought a set of Continental DWS06's in stock sizes (255F, 275R). They have 2500 miles on them.

I'm looking to pick up a set of MMD Zeven's in 19x10 and charcoal colored. I love the looks of the wheels. I'm resigned to know I need 5mm spacers up front.

Now the dilemma,

1. Do I just swap current tires and TPMS's to the new wheels or;
2. Take new wheels, stock pirelli's (255F/275R) and get new TPMS's and have all
mounted?

Either way, I will sell the stock wheels with whatever tires I have left.

You're not gonna need all-season tires in Texas

Figure out which tires you like more, put them on the wheels you want to keep, sell the other set mounted and ready to go. You will always have less headache selling one completed set than two partial items. You might have people asking to buy just one or the other... but it's always an ass ache if you separate.

I thought about that for sure. The contis will last longer but all season. Plus I'd have to get a set of TPMS's if moved the pirellis to the new ones and sold the stock PP wheels with the Continentals.

I ordered these in a staggered set (19x8.5 and 19x10) today. I hope to have them on by Tuesday. I'm going to have my Continental DWS06'S mounted.
