Old technology that is still impressive today vs new technology that has been proven with the new 5.0...remember the blower comparo between both engines? Why wouldn't Coyote's TiVCT tech, piston squirters, etc spread?

i really dopn't see the point of boring the 5.4 out to a 5.8 and changing the blower when just the blower change should easily let them 600+ hp with the tvs and the right size pulley

Agreed and you also have guys running more than 700 rwhp in their GT500s on stock motors with no problems.

Yep I was talking about the engines stock internal limits, the GT500 will make 700 rwhp relatively easy with a blower swap and fuel system upgrade.

The blower comparo is failing to mention torque numbers, power under the curve, and the difference between 8.4 : 1 and 11:1 CR.
