SP068

SP075

Manufactured from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire, these springs are cold wound on a CNC coiling machine that can adjust the spring diameter in real time to ensure that every spring is exactly the same. The BMR Lowering Springs (SP068 – Mustang GT, SP075 - GT500) feature finely tuned spring heights, giving you all the stored energy needed for great weight transfer and increased traction. These springs will drop your 2005-2014 Mustang GT or GT500 approximately 1.5-inches and feature a fine-tuned spring rate (150 lb/in front and 160 lb/in rear, Mustang GT) (165 lb/in front and 160 lb/in rear, GT500). This makes it the perfect spring for any Mustang that regularly seeing the drag strip. BMR designed the SP068 and SP075 springs for drag race and street performance applications. If you don’t regularly use your car on the drag strip, this is not the spring for you. Like all BMR lowering springs, the SP068 and SP075 has a LIFETIME guarantee against spring sag. Any test results with customer cars? I ordered some but waiting on back order. Just curious to see what kind of improvement others have seen.

VMP Tuning has gone from 1.35's to 1.25's (sixties) with these, and some shock setting changes.

Jeff Scofield went from a 1.55 to a 1.40 with the GT500 version.

Few more, of course, but those are just two that I can spit out without even thinking.

Is there any better springs for drag performance, don't care about lowering, just want traction.

Our drag springs are about the best spring you will find, if you are concerned with traction.

The S197s simply work better when lowered. (of course, assuming you have the UCA Mount and LCA Brackets to improve the geometry)

Very interested in these springs. How would you say it compares to the first version of the cobra jet springs?

That is what I been using in my car for daily drive and I have gone best 1.56 60ft in the 1/4 mile. I just don't like the way it makes my car look, they are just 1/2 inch lower than stock.
