yes brenspeed makes engines. I have one sitting in my garage in the crate right now. Hopefully in the next two weeks it will be going in. I got mine at a little better price than the 3499.

what is the typical install price for a short block? I have already emailed brenspeed, just waiting on a reply at the moment.

This is something new. Brenspeed is now assembling their own shortblocks but I will look into livernois as well.

install it yourself. I am in the process of doing this in my garage. You will save a ton of cash. Ive never worked on a car before this one and have only been doing it for about 4-5 years. i never thought i could swap a motor and i'm almost done. just reconnecting stuff now.

I am afraid if I do that my car will never work again.

you can save alot of cash getting the head gaskets and bolts from somewhere else, I believe the oil pan gasket is reuseable, the compression ratio is 8.5:1. Its really easy to do an engine swap on these cars.

Yeah the engine swaps are fairly easy. I pulled the motor and trans and dropped it all back in with headers on in a matter of a couple of hours. You could save alot of money doing it yourself. about $3200 to be exact lol.
