One of the more expensive items you can add to the interior of your Mustangs is gauges. There are a lot of choices out there and prices vary a lot. Last week we put together a high quality package that includes a Speed Of Sound Gauge pod, Auto Meter boost gauge, and Auto Meter air fuel gauge at a discounted price. We thought it might be easier for you to get the best bang for your buck having everything you need in one package. They are also quality parts and are the same ones used in our NMRA drag race Mustangs. Below are some details of the package now available on www.brenspeed.com
Gauge Pod: One of the worst things I see when walking through the shop is our techs installing a generic pillar style gauge pod. I think a lot of people do not realize that Speed Of Sound makes an OEM style quality pillar pod that matches your interior perfect. It is a factory molded OEM pillar with texture pods already installed to it. You just remove your stock pillar panel and install this one. They are bit more than a generic universal pod but seriously do you want to look at a generic one size fits all pillar pod when you drive your stang every day?
Gauges: Our packages include an Auto Meter 4379 air fuel meter. It uses a true Bosch LSU4.2 sensor to provide an accurate air fuel reading. It has a nice silver finish with a silver anodized bezel. The kit also comes with a bung to install in the exhaust for the Bosch sensor or if your rear 02 sensors are turned off you can install it in the rear 02 hole as the threads are the same. The boost gauge is an Auto Meter 4301 vacuum boost gauge. It reads up to 20 psi of boost and matches the air fuel meter with a silver finish and silver anodized bezel.
