Hey guys! My name is Albert aka "Bad 281". I've been in the army for 6 years now, have a technical certificate in Automotive Technology and am going for a BS in Mechanical Engineering with the intention of working on mustang design and development. I'm really excited about finding this forum as I see there are many knowledgable and great mustang owners on here I can share my experiences with. This is my first mustang and I must say I love it! After I put my first CAI on it and tune from Brenspeed I realized how much potential this generation of stangs had... So the modding began!

My current time right now is a [email protected] with a 3500rpm launch. Still working on it, heh.

My mods are as follows:

JLT CAI, CMCV delete, MMR stage I heads (before I knew they had a bad rep, but lucky me, mine were completely intact and work flawlessly), upgraded valvetrain with Manly Nextec Racing springs w/retainers, Phaser lockouts (fully advanced), Comp Cam SPR stage II, BBK LT w/ off-road x, 18" Dynomax resonators, stock mufflers, Steeda UD pullies, J&M solid UCA, Steeda solid LCAs w/ BMR relocation brackets, poly motor mounts, SLP line locks, 4.10s, and MT ET streets mounted on the 17x8s for track nights. The car has roughly around 400hp/380tq bhp w/ 93 octane. Tuned by Specialist Tuning in Mission, TX on the mustang dyno deemed "The Heartbreaker" 320hp/300tq.

My plans are to keep this thing all motor and keep it completely streetable and enjoyable to drive as my DD. Hoping to hit the low 12's this way!

Here are some pics of my baby

Welcome to the funhouse.

Awesome ride too. I bet people get all but-hurt when a mostly "stock" appearing mustang with "just" some appearance mods takes them for a walk.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I think I remember seeing your car at the spikes car show a while back. I'm from Edinburg. Welcome! And shit man, other than the louvers, red wire loom and CAI, I would never have guesses it was a H/C car! But I guess that's the idea huh?! lol.

Hehe, thanks. I'm trying to keep the car as clean as I can without going too overboard on the looks. I just like the way these mustangs look stock and of course with some added power, it's always fun.

Yup I was there! I might have seen you around, I was mostly hanging around my car during the show keeping an eye on it, heh. It's cool having a h/c car that looks stock, especially at the track, you know how all those camaros and trucks over there talk trash. Gives me an opportunity to put them in their place :roflmao:.

LOL, I haven't heard that before, but thank you! I like the way it looks, it brings out the engine compartment a little more without spending too much money. I was thinking about painting the manifold silver, but I'm still undecided on that.

Yeah, no shit. Too many f-bodies around here that think there aren't any fast mustangs around. Do you ever come to cruise nights over in McAllen. I'm heading out tonight in a few hours. We're normally at Best Buy on 10th and trenton, or academy off exp 281 and trenton. :thumb:

I've never been to one of McAllens cruise nights, but I would want to! When do you guys have them?

Are both of you guys going to our (Total Performance Mustangs) carshow down here in Brownsville (Tipton Ford) in March? Would be great to have you guys join us.
