i tried those exact bolts on the front of my car, and there wasn't enough adjustment to get the front end where i wanted it. the shop switched them for ac/delco camber bolts which had quite a bit more adjustment in them.

fwiw i got my camber pretty close to zero to reduce tirewear because of not being able to rotate the tires

What did you do , just use a smaller bolt for more room to move ?

That's what I was wondering...there's a chance the knuckle could slip. Smaller bolt = less clamping force. I used to autocross a different kind of car and it was common for alignments to slip with camber bolts due to the smaller size (the fix was to slot out the strut mounting bolts). If this is the case, did you at least look up the proper torque figure for the size hardware you used? If you didn't, there's a chance you over-torqued the bolt..
