so a week from today i will be driving out to colorado.

tranny fluid changed ( 5-speed )

rear diff fluid changed

engine oil and filter done ( today ) extra quart in trunk ( just in case )

tires are at 65 % tread life.

brakes are good

windshield wipers -new

windshield is new

washer fluid is full and extra gallon in trunk

150 piece tool kit in trunk ( just in case )

cell phone charger and mount.

AAA upgraded to premium

blinker fluid topped off ( lol )

did i miss out on any thing. thanks, stephan.

Muffler bearings?

Spare tire? Plug kit? Duck tape? Water / coolant?

I must be wrong on how I do it, I just get in and drive after checking the oil, coolant and brake fluids. Never had a vehicle that needed extra fluids along for the ride.

Lol, talk about being prepared. I just jump in my car and go, maybe run it thru a touchless wash real quick before heading out... lol

good point on the tire repair, guess i'll get a plug kit and a can of fix a flat

oh and STKJOCK,, i have no mufflers,, so bearings not needed

Just made a IL-AZ trip and didn't check most of that. It made it just fine with no issues. Its always good to be prepared, but it seems like you've got it all covered.

That should cover just about everything I would imagine. If you run through a gallon of windshield washer fluid on that trip, you have issues.

yes that i do, i use class magic on the outside of the windshield before every drive.
