I know this has been discussed a lot since I've been reading past posts for several hours, but I am ready to order and just want to double check since some of the info was a bit confusing and this is my first go around with a T/C.

I am looking at the PI multi-disc converter, but can't decide on 3000 or 3200 stall. I know the two are close but humor me.

Here's what I have:
Whipple
295/55/15 MT ET Street
3.73:1
stock internals as far as shift speed goes
Daily driver but what the most out of 12-20 track days a year.
Attached is a dyno sheet done with only the whipple mod.

Only thing does with the trans/drive train is a TCI shifter, Coast DS and PA deep pan.

So 3000, 3200 or am I way off on both?

A 3000 is actually going to flash at like 4800 with your power level, with a whipple and all that low end grunt I would say 2800-3000 stall

+1. I went with a 3600 rpm stall converter, and with my very mild supercharger it flashes to 4800 rpm's. But, I need the rpm's since my blower is a centrifugal. With a Whipple, go with the smaller converter.

I have been working with JDM recently and after review with Jim III I purchased a PI triple 2600. When it locks up you know it.

I was way off on the stall. Searching out this information is tricky with the mix of N/A and F/I applications.

If Jim III is recommending a 2600, and he personally runs a 2500-2600, R.D. runs a 2500, each with F/I and RWHP similar to my goals, I am thinking the 2500 to 2600 is the way to go. Thanks.
